JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Site Incharge - Jagdalpur
Reports To:
Role Type: Individual Contribution
Location: Jagdalpur
Job Responsibilities
Co-ordinate with customer`s nominated representatives regarding all activities
Submit the monthly billing invoice with required supporting documents to concern persons and follow up for the timely payment
Ensure that Roll Shop department runs smoothly with targeted norms
Co-ordinate with section in charge and do planning for work
Co-ordinate with sub-contractor for supply of required man power as per work order
Handling Manpower including contractual manpower and ensure to fulfill the required manpower
Co-ordinate with all shift in charges and follow up to ensure that work has to be executed on time
Achieve KPI’s which have been agreed between customer and service provider
On time renewal of labour license
SOP preparation and timely review with customer
Establish system for bearing servicing
Discuss with customer and prepare the bearing servicing plan and execute the plan
Skill assessment of workers
Training and development plan of the workers
Look for new business opportunity at running site and for another site
Knowledge of Work permit
Prepare check sheets for all the activities
Audit of check sheets, which have been filled up by concerned persons
Prepare maintenance plan for all the equipment, discuss with customer for execution
Define work area for all the shift in charges and work distribution, 5 S activity and housekeeping to the shift in charges
Monthly, Quarterly and annual reports preparation and circulate to concern persons
Check opportunity to decrease the cycle time of the process, discuss with customer with proper documents and calculation sheet, get validation from customer, then implement on site
Inspect all Roll Shop equipment, take feed back from operator, discuss with customer for maintenance and repair or replacement
Develop multi skill in workers, by providing training and change their work area
Internal Audit of 5 S activity and improvement plan
Prepare formats for different types of reports and give responsibility to all concerned person
Ensure all reports are prepared as per format and circulated on time
Inform to customer well in advance for required materials and spares
Conduct interview along with customer for required manpower at site, if person is selected, then complete the joining process including gate pass for customer’s site
Co-ordinate with sub-contractor for manpower related issues, recruitment, legal documents, safety PPEs, audits etc.
Co-ordinate with customer, sub-contractor and concerned person for safety, legal, ISO, OHSAS and other audits
Participate in customer meeting
Ensure safety of the person and equipment
Skill Set
Should be able to work in Roll Shop Department of Flat Hot Rolling Mill and manage complete roll shop dept. Managing 3 shift in charge / supervisors.

Experience in preparation of documents like SOP, Check Sheets for different activities, Skill Matrix assessment of team members and audit related documents
Strong communication skills with focus on achievement of KPI’s which have been agreed between customer and service provider
Knowledge of REP and Condition Monitoring preferred.

Education & Experience
B.E. / B. Tech / in Mechanical engineering
7 - 10 years of experience in Roll Shop department as an in charge
Team-leader with ability to involve, motivate and influence people
Should be able to work in Roll Shop Department of Flat Hot Rolling Mill and manage complete roll shop dept. Managing 3 shift in charge / supervisors.
