Business Development & Product Manager Engine North America


Reports to: Product Line Manager, Engine



The VA Business Unit has been established to be able to focus on the specific needs and developments in the Automotive Aftermarket. Today, Engine Product Line for cars is mostly present in Europe. To be able to provide a complete range of Engine aftermarket products in all regions we want to strengthen the Engine aftermarket business in North America to expand our geographical footprint.


To enable this expansion of the Engine Product Line business and to strengthen the North America product management we are looking for a proactive, can-do, hands-on, dynamic personality as:  



  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the Engine product line portfolio of products in close collaboration with the Global Engine Product Line Team and sales in North America. You will
  • Implement the new Engine portfolio largely increasing the available Engine products in the market.
  • Create and maintain the Engine Aftermarket product portfolio for North America with the aim to give the optimum coverage of Engine products.
  • Understand the Engine and related products for cars.
  • Know the market and associated competitors for North America.
  • Work in our digitalized system environment to create and maintain the range as well as contributing to developing the system environment.
  • Collaborate with Engine Product Line Team in Europe
  • Communicate with sales in North America about our product range.
  • Ensure best in class development of the Engine product line (product assortments), keeping up with technology development and exploring the competition in the market
  • Support Engine business growth (in sales and market share) by defining the appropriate product coverage for Engine in North America
  • Provide expertise and knowledge related to Engine products for cars

Job requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent working experience
  • Persistent and self-driven, strong organizational skills
  • Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate with different people
  • High level of drive and personal commitment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with good analytical skills and good business understanding
  • Strong customer focus and result minded
  • Very strong product knowledge and technical understanding on Engine products for cars
  • Creative and innovative
  • Excellent team worker
