SKF USA is looking for a Work Package Manager for the

ERP Implementation Lead - Finance

 

 

A project is underway to replace the existing ERP systems in PEER, COOPER, LUBRICATION and SEALING SOLUTIONS with SKF common systems.  The SKF Common Systems will include COH, DOH, DWM/WASS, Mapics XA and other associated applications to manage the businesses until the introduction of SEP (SKF ERP Program).  A core project team has been established to improve business processes and to implement the SKF mid-term common systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage SKF common systems to drive standardization & simplification while maintaining the competitive advantage of the respective brands.
  • Develop and execute project plans to support the Finance organization.
  • Determine critical path decisions, make recommendations, and influence SKF program leaders and business process owners to achieve a timely and effective implementation
  • Prepare and execute systems plans and assure that they are in concert with business objectives that support the sales and manufacturing processes.
  • Lead efforts for ongoing site training while documenting a training plan by functional area.  Training local SME’s to support the systems going forward will be included.
  • Monitor ongoing adoption and usage of the common systems, report and correct inconsistencies after launch.
  • Support other functional areas as needed to ensure success of the overall project.
  • Understand any and all financial reporting (ie tax, payables, receivables, invoicing and work with auditors etc) in the Accounting-to-Reporting business processes.
  • Develop processes to support the business plan and forecasts.
  • Perform internal reporting with accurate and timely monthly closings.
  • Review and enhance the operational policies and procedures to ensure proper financial controls are sufficient and followed.
  • Act as a resource for financial analysis and issue resolution within the business unit, research and understand details regarding accounting system charges.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, in Finance, Accounting or Economics (MBA and or CPA preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and business unit accounting.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in accounting and business or financial analysis/controlling.
  • Knowledge of ERP reporting systems and functionality is required.
  • Strategic thinker with good problem-solving ability, strong planning, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Conversant on financial regulations and business practices.
  • Excellent command of PC skills and computerized accounting systems.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate across all levels, internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel to support the implementations.
  • Must be a leader with strong coaching abilities to optimize the performance of the finance team.
