Customer Quality and Management System Industrial Sales USA – Lansdale, PA

 

 

Location: Lansdale

Reporting to: Customer Experience Industrial Market Sales USA with dotted line to Americas Industrial Market Sales Quality

 

This role is expected to work approximately 70% of the time for Industrial Market Sales USA and 30% of the time supporting Americas Industrial Market Sales Quality

 

Customer Quality Liaison

  • Serve as the closed loop feedback between the customer and the QMS
    • Work with the units to track, understand and integrate customer loyalty, customer satisfaction, voice of the customer and any other customer feedback mechanism into current processes.
    • Leverage customer and employee feedback to continuously improve QMS practices – utilize customer feedback into the QMS as a mechanism to improve transform the way SKF interacts with the customer.
    • Serve as voice of the customer in all QMS improvement projects.
    • Survey existing methods to scout for opportunities to apply digitalization techniques within the QMS to improve the customer experience and streamline operations by applying RPA (robot process automation).

 

Main responsibilities Industrial Market Sales USA

  • Management of the QMS (Qd)
    • Build a living and user friendly QMS, connected to the performance of the organization. A business process system to help improving our business effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Document updates coming from group Qb/Qc/ISO 9001 into Qd.
    • Document processes when working with Process Managers in IM Sales USA.
    • Support the organization developing our processes to improve customer experience.
    • Training the organization in the use of the QMS (structure, content, updates, etc…)
  • Management Review
    • Ensure Management Review fulfills ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Auditing
    • Coordination and planning of audits with registrar.
    • Coordination of internal audits for IM Sales USA.
    • Development and coordination of internal auditors.

Reporting of audits in QT13 database.

  • Product Compliance
    • Coordinate the response of product compliance requests to customers.

 

Main responsibilities in Quality Industrial Market Sales Americas

  • Coordination of:
    • Updates from Qb/Qc to all units in Americas
    • Engineering Changes
    • Audit planning in Americas (internal and by registrar)
    • Initiatives coming from group, for example:
      • Zero Defects Handbook
      • ETO process
      • Engineering Change Process
      • General Customer Requirements

 

Experience and skills

  • Experience working close to customers to understand their needs
  • Certified auditor in ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 standards
  • Knowledge of SKF QMS and Quality Processes (Complaint Handling, Engineering Changes, QT13, etc…)
  • Good Quality network in SKF
