Graphic Designer



Reports to:  VP Marketing Industrial Sales Americas

Location:  Lansdale, PA


SKF’s North American marketing team oversees all of SKF’s advertising, branding, marketing, public relations, social media and sales enablement to ensure the creative development and execution of world-class communications.

The Design Team is responsible for the design and art direction of core communications—including product launches and seasonal campaigns—across OEM, Aftermarket/Distribution, Packaging, and Events. Working in a highly collaborative manner, the Graphic Designer is an integral member of the marketing team creating innovative and compelling work that meets the requirements outlined in SKF creative briefs—from ideation to execution. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing work that inspires both current and potential customers for one of the most world-class brands.


Key Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of design experience with a growing ability to develop innovative creative work across a broad range of media. Must have a working knowledge of graphic design, branding, photography, and art direction as it pertains to print, digital, and video.
  • You are a motivated and driven designer that collaborates well with a team to find simple solutions to complex problems.  Excellent skills with design software, primarily the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with video software is a plus (example StoryKit).
  • Ability to translate marketing and branding concepts, technical discussions and overall campaign objectives into design strategies.
  • Create innovative, world-class visual brand designs across all customer touchpoints, managing the entire process from concept to production.
  • Transform campaigns/campaign objectives into compelling designs that ensure the voice of the brand is captured in all marketing materials (including sales materials, promotional collateral, posters, landing pages, mass email communications, banner ads, social media graphics, tradeshow graphics, etc.).
  • Manage and uphold all graphic and brand standards from concept through production.
  • Organize all necessary artwork and mechanicals for release to vendors, media partners, etc.
  • Ensure all aspects of final graphics/artwork are delivered on time, on budget, and in a manner that represents the brand authentically.
  • Initiative to take ownership of projects from start to finish – including potentially researching clients or market audiences, ideation, visual design, prototyping and testing, creating and presenting design concepts.
  • Actively participate in and often lead internal design reviews with insightful contributions. Capture and interpret feedback from teammates and clients.
  • Work with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc. towards completion of key projects.
  • Consistently look for opportunities for advancements in design and technology and ways to improve the brand, style guide, websites, materials and products.
  • Brainstorm and provide creative input to help bring forth new and innovative ideas that will help better serve our customer.
  • Design for multiple platforms including blog postings, articles, social media copy, websites, banners, video scripts, direct mail, interactive quizzes, polls, slideshows, case studies, infographics, and more.
  • Exceptionally skilled at visual storytelling, typography, layout, to create visual compositions using copy, photography and/or animation.
  • Design digital and social-first campaigns.  
  • Proactively design UX and mockups to communicate new inspiring brand experiences on web pages and campaign landing pages.



  • 4-year degree in graphic design, or related field highly preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of digital content/marketing experience
  • Experience with stop-motion animation, custom GIFs, and other movement based social content marketing tactics
  • Photoshop expert level and superior Adobe Creative Suite knowledge
  • Experience with responsive design websites
  • Experience in creating original video and photography, and editing of video and photography a plus
  • Experience using and managing assets in a DAM a plus
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of CSS, and HTML are a plus
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics a plus
