Aerospace Project Manager - New Products Introduction

Engineer-to-order (ETO) is SKF’s project management business process for introducing strategic new products to our customers.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for proactively managing all aspects of new aerospace customer projects through the ETO process to deliver the project on-cost, on schedule, and with quality to our customers.
You will work with the larger SKF Aerospace team to bring game-changing products to the aerospace industry’s most demanding applications – for customers like Airbus, Dassault, Boeing, Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo, Liebherr Aerospace.
As a member of a global team of project managers, you will:
• Lead cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Testing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Supplier Management.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and risks management.
• Ensure effective communication with project teams, sponsors, steering committees, and customers.
• Act as the local ETO process expert, responsible for its deployment and continuous improvement of the process within the manufacturing unit.
• Contribute to the development of innovative products for the aerospace industry’s most demanding applications.
• Interact with project teams, sponsors, and steering groups, as well as international customers.
What we expect you to have…
• Experience leading projects in a team environment
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills, fluent in English
• Master’s Degree in engineering or similar
The following qualifications are considered a plus
• Project management certification
• Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP+)
• Experience with the aerospace industry
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis

This position is located in Lons-le-Saunier (39) within the SKF Aerospace Business Unit, supporting the Aerostructure product line, on a local contract.
