Order to Cash Accountant


At Order to Cash, we are currently providing the Accounts Receivable & Cash and Bank activities for most of the SKF companies in Central Europe. Our team consists of people highly experienced in Accounts Receivable and Cash & Bank processes and we have a close collaboration with the global process owner for Order to Cash. We are working in different systems, but the main companies use SAP.


We have an exciting future ahead of us, with an updated finance strategy. Finance will have a powerful role in the digital environment, and we want to be on the frontline of the next generation of Business Finance.


Daily activities for Order to Cash Accountant

  • Drive improvements and use SKF Business excellence as the tool to reach our future goals
  • Follow up and ensure that the collection process works as planned on time in scope 
  • Support to the business of Sundry invoices and daily follow-up
  • Ensure the quality of master data about our customers in the customer's ledger
  • Carrying out ad hoc and monthly analysis of AR & Bank processes and DSO
  • Handling of incoming payments & secure process of open items
  • Contact person between local business and bank
  • Have close collaboration with Sales organizations in Central EMEA
  • Follow up and monitor outsourced AR & Bank activities
  • Delivering a high level of customer service: being a supportive partner, analyzing situations on customer accounts; Following up on overdue accounts (specially related and Intercompany)
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with business and customers, following and preparing daily reporting on business request
  • Participating in the resolution of unclear payments and evaluating customer account and payment history
  • Supporting other team members in achieving team and individual goals
  • Elaboration of reports (periodical and upon request)
  • Communication with management and preparing process maps and desktop procedures


We expect

  • An experienced accountant with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting or similar working experience.
  • Prior experience working in finance systems (SAP) and MS Office
  • Fluent in writing and speaking in English and German. Other language skills are beneficial.

You will report to the Team Leader of Order to Cash and Manager of Order to Cash, which is located in Poznan, Poland.
