We're Hiring: Business Application Specialist – Payroll/HR
About the Role
This is a brand-new role offering a rare opportunity to shape how payroll and workforce management systems are managed and integrated across our infrastructure and EMEA countries starting with Germany. Main Responsibilities
- System Management: Act as the subject matter expert for payroll applications ( e.g. ADP Paisy CS, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG Pro WFM).
You'll be hands-on in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting these systems to ensure seamless operations. - Streamlining Workflows and Processes: Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT teams to implement, maintain, and improve payroll workflows and integrations. You'll analyze business requirements, create design specifications for technical solutions, and directly implement these solutions.
- Incident Management: Oversee major and standard incident processes, including communications, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and service restoration. You'll be the go-to person for resolving complex issues quickly and effectively.
- Change Management: Drive system changes initiatives to maximize adoption, minimize disruption, and support a culture of continuous improvement. You'll lead training sessions and create user-friendly documentation to ensure smooth transitions.
- Governance and Reporting: Maintain documentation, deliver system performance reports, and ensure system security compliance. You'll regularly audit systems and processes to ensure they meet compliance standards.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Payroll/HR, IT, Security, and business stakeholders to deliver aligned, high-quality services. You'll facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide updates.
- System Upgrades: Lead or support system upgrades, testing, and data audits. You'll plan and execute upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3+ years as a Business Application Specialist, preferably within HRIS Payroll and HR applications (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, UKG pro, ADP Paisy CS). Hands-on experience with these systems is essential.
- Technical Skills: Experience with automation tools or scripting (e.g., Power Automate, Snowflake and SQL/queries in Snowflake). You'll be expected to create and maintain automation scripts to streamline processes.
- Incident and Service Management: Strong experience overseeing incident and service management in a complex environment, ideally involving ERP/WMS platforms.
- Change Management: Solid understanding of change management and training best practices. You'll be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and leading change initiatives.
- Personal Attributes: Proactive, resilient, and able to navigate complex IT architectures and legacy systems. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English with conversational skills in German (additional languages such as French, or Italian would be an advantage).
This position will be located in Poznań, Poland.
