Internal Control Manager
– Automotive Business


In this position you will be part of our global Risk & Assurance team and play a key role in strengthening SKF Automotive’s control environment. As Internal Control Manager, you’ll help design, implement, and monitor frameworks that ensure accurate, reliable financial reporting and compliance with regulations.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organization, translating strategy into action and driving continuous improvement in processes and controls. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on governance and risk management in a dynamic, international setting.


Key Responsibilities (What you can expect in the role)

As Internal Control Manager, you will:

  • Support the development and maintenance of group-wide internal control requirements.
  • Implement and follow up on controls across business processes.
  • Coordinate and execute internal control testing activities.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal control frameworks and tools (e.g., ServiceNow IRM).
  • Monitor compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with process owners to ensure control design and effectiveness.
  • Participate in risk assessments and identify control gaps.
  • Prepare reports and updates for management and relevant committees.
  • Promote awareness and understanding of internal control principles across the organization.
  • Deliver training and guidance to stakeholders as needed.


Requirements (We expect you to have)

  • University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Internal Control or Financial Reporting.
  • Experience in an audit firm or multinational organization (preferred).
  • Solid background in governance and hands-on execution within finance or accounting.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
