JUNIOR PURCHASING SPECIALIST WITH ITALIAN

SKF are establishing a Purchasing service center organization supporting SKF units in EMEA region. We have an exciting future ahead of us towards a clear Purchasing strategy and road map. Purchasing have a powerful role in the journey towards the ambition of an efficient, digitalized and automized Purchase-to-Pay process.  

The Purchasing service center will play a vital role in this journey, by executing the tasks in scope with accuracy and speed, but also to standardize way of working and focus on continuous improvements. 

The initial scope for Purchasing service center at SKF in Poland includes Master data management, Price updates and Invoices handling, but will successively expand to also include additional process and tasks.  

  
Your day-to-day work  

• Create new vendors and maintain masterdata on existing vendors in the purchasing systems 

• Maintain price lists in the purchasing systems and validate correctness in line with purchasing agreements 

• Handle invoice deviations, investigate route cause and suggest corrective actions 

• Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors and be the daily contact persons towards the country Operations purchasing teams within EMEA Region  

• Support continoues improvement of purchasing processes and systems, to enable standardization, efficiency and automization. 

We expect you to have/be    

• university graduate  

• computer literacy and experience in MS office applications 

• pragmatic & logical thinker with an eye for detail and an analytical mind 

• good English and Italian, optionally French
