Legal Counsel Poland
As a Legal Counsel, you will provide legal advice that helps the business area meet its overall strategic goals. Responsibilities will include legal support on a wide range of matters, from day-to-day operational matters to more complex international business transactions. You will advise members of senior management and country leadership and coordinate legal activities essential to the business area.
What you can expect in this role:
- Provide legal advice and support on a variety of legal matters including purchasing and sales contracts, commercial disputes, cross-border projects and compliance matters.
- Advise country management and regional management in key topics including, corporate matters, compliance, commercial contracts and disputes.
- Independently draft, review and negotiate agreements of global and strategic importance.
- Implementing and supporting legal standards in compliance areas including growing regulatory areas such as information security and ESG.
- Support the business area in standardization and digitalization of contract negotiation and compliance checks.
- Provide effective guidance to senior business stakeholders.
- Co-operate with other functions and to foresee and protect the company against legal and compliance risks.
We expect you to have
- Degree in Law
- Several years’ working experience from a reputable law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in an international industrial company.
- Experience of commercial law, anti-trust, anti-corruption and international trade laws.
- Ability to independently handle all kinds of legal matters of international and/or complex nature.
- In-depth understanding and interest of business strategy and technical context.
- Skilled organization and time management abilities.
- Fluency in English.

This position is located in Poznan, Poland, on local contract.
