As part of this transformation, we are enhancing our People Experience Operational Center in Poznan, making it the backbone of PX service delivery in Region Europe & Africa. To support this, we are recruiting a:

 

PX (HR) Operations Manager Italy

 

to lead and develop the team delivering People Services to SKF sites, located in Italy.

 

In this role, you will help shape how we design and deliver People Experience processes.
Together with your team, you will turn strategy into user‑friendly, effective processes that enhance employee experience and operational excellence. You will work closely with People Experience colleagues and business stakeholders to contribute to a modern and unified People Experience organization.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have an interest in how People Experience supports manufacturing environments and engineering‑driven operations, as many of your internal customers work close to SKF’s core business.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the People Services team (located both in Poland and Italy) supporting our business in Italy.
  • Build an engaged, agile, and service‑focused team culture that transcends country borders.
  • Provide administrative support relating to all HR - this includes but is not limited to: employment documentation preparation and update, pension administration, resolving HR & Payroll queries, employee benefit administration.
  • Ensure high‑quality, compliant service delivery and a seamless employee experience.
  • Act as the escalation point, ensuring service levels and operational standards are met.
  • Identify and address service gaps proactively, using data and insights to enable continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate across global, regional, and local PX teams to streamline processes and support solution adoption.
  • Build trustful, effective relationships with key stakeholders and contribute to the ongoing PX transformation.
  • Be responsible for selected PX processes and activities (e.g., Global Mobility, Power of Attorney related process, PX support for Executives, Management contact for confidential matters, participating in PX projects as Team representative).

 

We expect you to have

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, another relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge about Italian HR and Payroll processes, policies, benefits and taxation Rules, knowledge of Italian labor legislation.
  • Good knowledge of office automation tools (especially MS Excel, PowerBI is also appreciated).
  • Experience from a leadership role managing small – to mid‑sized teams, including responsibility for recruitment, development, task allocation, and performance management (min. 3 years).
  • Experience working with and improving People Experience processes; PX/HR operational experience is required (min. 5 years).
  • High proficiency in English and Italian, written and spoken.
  • Experience with HR digital tools is an advantage.
  • High‑level presentation capabilities and clear communication skills.
  • Experience working in an international environment will be considered an asset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel when required (<10%) - in particular, during the initial period, it will be required to travel to Italy to meet the Team members and understand the processes.

This position will be located in Poznan (Poland), on local contract.
