People Operations Specialist – Germany

 

Purpose of the Role

The role exists to deliver high‑quality, compliant, and efficient PX operational services for Germany, ensuring a smooth employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. In this role, you will contribute to a world‑class PX function by delivering high‑quality services that strengthen the employee experience and support SKF’s transformation.

Working closely with global and regional teams, you will ensure accurate people data, timely resolution of HR queries, and excellence in process execution. Through a proactive and service‑oriented approach, the role drives continuous improvement, supports digital tool adoption, and ensures every interaction is handled with accuracy, clarity, and care.

 

As a part of PX Operations DACH Team, you will:

  • Provide efficient administrative support relating to all HR topics including, but not limited to:
    • Starter & Leaver Processes 
    • Resolving HR Queries 
    • Acting as support to Managers and People Business Enablers/HR Partners
    • Monitor and action processes and request workflows in our HR service delivery case management platform 
    • Employee Benefits Administration 
    • Supporting activities to increase user adoption of the HR case management platform 
    • Support continuous improvement activities 
    • Other administration duties as and when required 
  • Manage employee data in local and global systems and meet Service Level

Agreements

  • Perform monthly People Core data audits to ensure data quality and compliance 
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the area of responsibility
  • Prepare and update documentation for employees (e.g. work contracts, amendments to work contracts etc.)
  • Monitor and update HR documentation when required
  • Continuously improve ways of working

 

We expect you to have

  • University degree in Human Resources, or equivalent experience, and knowledge of Germany labor law and work environment regulations
  • Has experience of qualified HR work
  • Has strong communication skills and can express themselves well in both German and English, verbally and in writing
  • Basic knowledge about German: HR processes, policies, benefits and taxation Rules
  • Responsible and proactive approach with solid communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, organize and prioritize tasks independently
  • Positive, can-do mindset: collaborative, flexible, resourceful and eager to learn and grow
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office packages and HCM systems
  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality
  • Has a strong sense of structure
  • Enjoys working with change and improvement initiatives
  • Can work both independently and as part of a team
