SAP TM/EM IT Solution Owner
About the Role:
SKF has deployed SAP TM/EM globally, covering various processes and transport modes. As the SAP TM/EM IT Solution Owner, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP TM/EM within the logistics domain, ensuring a stable and reliable platform that supports seamless operations. Your deep knowledge of the application and IT landscape will add significant value to SKF.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and own the long-term SAP TM/EM solution roadmap, aligning it with business requirements and SAP’s product roadmap.
- Oversee the application lifecycle, including development, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Ensure high-quality application performance, stability, and related services through effective collaboration and alignment.
- Monitor application performance and implement necessary improvements.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.
- Engage with international business process experts, SAP TM/EM application experts, and solution architects to analyse business requirements and define technical specifications.
- Manage the backlog of IDEAs/DEMANDs and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Your day-to-day work:
- Align business requirements with system capabilities.
- Recommend new configurations, upgrades, and improvements.
- Drive changes with a balance between standardization and innovation.
- Ensure solution deliveries according to the agreed release plan.
- Manage interfaces to other applications.
- Collaborate with regional and global IT resources.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant applications/systems.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of solutions.
- Engage during major system outages (P1s and severe P2s).

Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in Logistics, especially transportation, cross-docking, and forwarder integration processes.
- Expertise in SAP TM/EM and related SAP modules.
- Experience in driving application efficiency and stability.
- Experience in integrating SAP TM/EM with other SAP modules and ERP systems.
- High communication skills in English, both written and oral.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office.
- University degree in IT, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
It is also a great advantage if you have
- An understanding of Logistics impacts on co-existing processes such as sales, purchasing, and finance.
- Experience in SAP EWM and SAP TM integration for Advanced Shipping and Receiving (ASR) solutions.

Additional Information:
Preferred locations: Bangalore, India, or Poznan, Poland.
