Internal Audit Manager
 Latin America (LAM)



As an Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of Internal audits to assess the design and operating effectiveness of processes and key controls, as well as conduct investigations if required. You will also be responsible for assessing potential risks and helping the business identify mitigating actions, as well as digitalizing the Internal Audit processes.

As the Internal Audit Manager, you will be a part of the Global Internal Audit team and be primarily responsible for LAM. This means that even if LAM will be your main responsibility area, continuous improvement, collaboration across borders as well as streamlining processes from a global perspective will also be expected of you. Working closely together with the other Audit Managers in the global team is essential.


You will interact with all levels of the business, including Group Management and other Senior managers.


Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Performing a wide range of Internal Audits, which will involve assessing key risks and identifying and reviewing controls put in place by management
  • Preparing reports on findings arising from the audits as well as making recommendations for the enhancement and improvement of processes
  • Discussing and agreeing on Internal Audit findings with relevant stakeholders on all levels of the business
  • Working on strengthening the digital analytics for Audits by digitalizing and automating the Internal Audit processes.
  • Conducting ad hoc assignments (for operation areas/Company and Group level) as required.
  • Conducting high risk investigations, when required.


In short, in the role as Internal Audit Manager you need to understand how the risks will impact the delivery of objectives if they are not managed effectively. Your main focus will be to anticipate possible future concerns and opportunities.


We expect you to have/be

  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.  Master's Degree is a plus.
  • Professional certification of CPA (or equivalent) and CIA (other professional certifications such as CISA is a plus.)
  • Previous in-depth knowledge of risks and internal controls in relation to the business processes of SKF
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office. Understanding of digitalized audit tools and data analytics techniques and experience in data management is required.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Spanish is a pre-requisite; other languages like Portuguese is a plus.
  • Previous experience in Internal Audit or Controlling is preferred
  • Add - 5+ years’ experience from sizable organization as operational/internal audit
  • Experience in working in the manufacturing industry and sales companies in a global and complex organization is preferable.
  • In-depth knowledge of risks and internal controls in relation to business processes
