Payroll analyst
Objective
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Analyst with advanced English skills to join our growing team. In this role, you will ensure accurate personnel administration and timely payroll processing, maintain compliance with local labor regulations, and provide excellent support to employees and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in payroll administration
- Advanced English proficiency (C1)
- Experience with payroll systems such as SUA, SAP, Tress.
- Experience working in multinational environments.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and labor law in Mexico ((IMSS, Infonavit, SAT, STPS)
- Advanced Excel skills, proficient in pivot tables, complex formulas, and database management
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Review and audit payroll data, including timesheets, bonuses, deductions, and taxes.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, compensation, and deductions in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reporting and audits.
- Maintain and update employee records in payroll systems (e.g. SAP, Revolution, Oracle).
- Continuously identify process improvement opportunities to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
