Purchasing Performance Analyst

Job Objective
Support the Group Purchasing with advanced purchasing analytics such as supply market analysis, price list review, price competitiveness analysis, supplier category analysis support spend analytics, local RFQ analytics, local supplier status report, supplier development operational activities for Mexico and North America suppliers.
Requirements
- Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in Procurement, purchasing, or sourcing, data analysis, price analysis, benchmarking, or supplier analysis, RFQ/RFP processes, price list management, or market trend analysis.
- Experience working with suppliers in Mexico and/or North America
- Advanced English for regional communication and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, dashboards).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and procurement platforms (Ariba, Coupa, etc.), Power BI.
- Knowledge of Supply market analysis, price competitiveness analysis, supplier development processes, commodity trends (PPI, raw materials), spend analytics, project management experience.
Responsibilities
- Support Regional Category Manager developing and following up the supplier development plan following operational activities and coordination such as orders, project analysis, volumes projection, sample plan,
- Ability to understand auto parts, read blueprints, and interpret technical specifications.
- Manage the quarterly price list review.
- Make price trend analysis (e.g PPI trends, raw material commodity outlooks).
- Perform purchasing benchmarking comparisson between suppliers.
- Propose and contribute in team projects to continuously improve services ( e.g data quality, standardization of reports, reporting process and procedures KPI’s measurements, decision making support).
- Run their operations according to the SKF Code of Conduct, Environment Health & Safety (EHS), and Quality Policies, and work according to the SKF Quality Management System. If the operation is EHS certified, work according to the SKF EHS Management System.
