Automotive Global Customer Requirements Coordinator- Automotive Business
We are in the process of identifying a suitable candidate for the role of Automotive Global Customer Requirements Coordinator. This role will be based in Pune and will report to the Customer Quality Manager.
SKF is strengthening its global approach toward Customer Specific Requirements (CSR), ensuring that all customer requirements are captured, assessed, negotiated, documented, deployed, and maintained across the organization. We are looking for a Global Coordinator for Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) with a strong global automotive background.
Key responsibilities (or What you can expect in the role)
- CSR Governance & Process Ownership
- Establish and maintain governance for Customer Specific Requirements globally.
- Maintain and improve CSR processes, templates, gap-analysis frameworks, and SharePoint databases.
- CSR Identification & Review
- Coordinate review of all General Customer Requirements (GCR) and CSR.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Legal, and Information Security.
- Gap Analysis & Cross-functional Assessment
- Lead gap analysis against automotive & international standards and processes
- Prepare positions for negotiation.
- Customer Negotiation Support
- Support Account Managers during negotiation of customer requirements.
- Ensure all negotiated requirements are documented and stored.
- CSR Deployment & Implementation
- Develop and communicate GCR/CSR Specifications.
- Ensure implementation plans are executed globally.
- Global Training & Continuous Improvement
- Train global teams on CSR requirements.
- Drive improvements in CSR handling.
Requirements (or We expect you to have/be)
- 5-8 years of experience in the global automotive industry.
- Deep knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, Core Tools, change management, and customer audits.
- Experience working with major OEMs/Tier‑1s on customer requirements.
- Strong understanding of CSR, GCR, and customer portals.
- Experience in cross‑functional processes: Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics.
