JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: DGM – Communications, ISEAM
Reports To: Head – Marketing & Communications, ISEAM
Role Type: Team Management
Location: Pune
Job Responsibilities
Role Purpose
Lead integrated internal and external communications for the ISEAM region (India, Southeast Asia, and Middle East), driving a consistent and high-impact narrative across markets.
The role owns media relations, brand positioning, corporate communications, and internal engagement, with a strong focus on share of voice, governance, and stakeholder alignment. It works closely with global and regional teams to ensure consistency of messaging and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
External Communications & Media
Drive media strategy to improve share of voice (SOV), visibility, and leadership positioning
Lead PR and media engagement for product launches, leadership visits, and thought leadership
Manage PR agencies and build strong media relationships
Ensure consistent brand narrative across PR, social media, and campaigns
Collaborate with global and regional teams to align messaging and amplify impact
Corporate Communications & Compliance
Own communication for annual reports, quarterly results, AGM, and investor communication
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards
Internal Communications
Lead communication for strategy, culture initiatives, HR programs, and organizational changes
Enable leadership messaging across channels (town halls, campaigns, internal platforms)
Partner closely with HR and leadership to drive engagement and alignment
Brand, Content & Customer Voice
Act as custodian of brand narrative and social media content quality
Lead content development across PR, leadership communication, and digital platforms
Drive voice of customer (VoC) initiatives and translate insights into brand actions
Partner with global teams on brand governance and tracking
Team & Stakeholder Leadership
Lead and develop a regional communications team (PR, brand, internal comms)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners for integrated execution
Reputation, Governance & Reporting
Drive crisis communication readiness and reputation management
Establish communication processes and governance frameworks
Track and report on SOV, media quality, engagement, and brand perception
Qualifications & Experience
MBA/Master’s in Communications, Marketing, or related field
10–15 years in corporate communications, PR, and internal communications
Experience across multi-country / matrix environments
Proven team leadership experience
