Position Title: Strategy
Reports To: Strategy Lead
Role Type: Individual Contribution
Location: Pune
Job Responsibilities
The Deputy Manager - Strategy will support the development and execution of growth strategies for SKF’s Industrial business across India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. This includes assisting in segment-level strategies, country-specific plans, market intelligence, and supporting strategic programs that enable long-term competitiveness and operational excellence.
- Responsibilities
Conduct market research and competitive analysis; prepare insight reports.
Support development of segment and country strategies through data modeling and benchmarking.
Assist in preparing business cases, financial models, and dashboards.
Track progress of strategic initiatives and maintain PMO documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable execution.
Training and development of Frontline sales, Business Development, Application Engineering, DD organization on the segment products and new technologies.
Identify segments, technical trends and give feedback to PD/ PE for development of competitive products and services.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; ability to work with large datasets.
Structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.
Program coordination and stakeholder management.
Proficiency in tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI/Tableau, SQL (basic), and data visualization platforms.
Candidate Profile
MBA from a Tier-1 institution (IIMs ABCLK, ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, FMS…).
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical preferred).
3–5 years of experience in Strategy, Consulting, or Business Analysis; industrial/B2B exposure preferred.
