JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Lead Business Development
Reports To: Factory Manager
Role Type: Individual Contributor
Location: Pune(Factory)
Purpose of the role:
Factory needs to own & drive business growth in addition to sales to achieve top line and bottom line.
Responsibilities:
- Create strategic business development plans including defining key segments / customers for the factory and review business, profitability, activities (important by volume, profit, technology…) or potential customer, identify loss makers (SPL, better PLP) and work on them from customer and/or cost side.
- Drive RFQ management process/tools to handle enquiry from sales, support factory planning, analyse lead time for business growth.
- Develop Support to quote marginal business case to ensure factory loading.
- Drive strategic projects for improving share of business & profitability as per the factory business Development plan like ASO to Secure existing business/markets.
- Lead the Business Team and ensure efficient inquiry and order handling (quick and competent offers, good hit rate, offers which fit market needs)
- Build strong relationship with the leadership team of top customers to position SKF’s offerings/value propositions. Increase network with sales, application engineering, relevant application competence centers, product line management, product development for product offerings, capabilities, competences, USP.
- Analyze sales/factory performance & Provide local business intelligence and competitive data through MMR.
- Facilitate development of factory strategic action plan and KPI follow up.
- Develop a capable and motivated team which would deliver the set objectives & create right atmosphere for the team by mentoring, coaching & empowering them.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor in Engineering( Any stream) & MBA Finance preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Function.
- Experience in driving change initiatives and improvements to improve the Profitability, cost down projects.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
