Finance Specialist Manager
We are in the process of identifying a suitable candidate for the role of Finance Specialist Manager. This role will be based in Pune and will report to the Head – Finance Operations.
The role manages a Finance Support organization responsible for all countries within the region. The position is responsible for all support related to delivering services according to service agreements.
Key responsibilities (or What you can expect in the role)
- Leading the Finance support organization towards target model within region
- Manager for group of regional support functions, e.g. Finance Process Managers, Business Excellence Manager, System and Master Data Administrators and Project leaders/SAP implementation in the sub-region
- Responsible for competency management for the support function
- Drives performance improvement and ensures fulfilment of all regulatory and internal requirements
- Responsible for coordinating the implementation of agreed standardized processes and templates
Requirements (or We expect you to have/be)
- Superior understanding of overall Finance & Accounting with Broad understanding of Finance processes, process development and improvement
- Strong Program, project and process management skills with an obsession for continuous improvement
- Good Organizational and planning skills, including ability to: prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set goals and enforce deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassess and prioritize goals
- Extended networking and team management skills
- Experience with MS Office required and superior understanding of Finance systems/ERP
- Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills
- Ability to challenge the standard/Status- Quo in order to secure accounting and improve processes. Open minded when it comes to changes.
- CA/CMA/MBA
- 15+ years of work experience within Finance function including 5+ years’ experience within:
- Finance management and development
- Working and leading multicultural global teams effectively
- Change management
- Experience of working in a Manufacturing Set-up/ Exposure working in a Shared services Centre will be an added advantage
