Role Title:          Finance Transformation Manager

Reports to:        Head – Finance Operations

Purpose of the role:

 

The Manager – Regional Support is responsible for leading the Finance Support organization across all countries within the region, ensuring effective support for service delivery in line with agreed service levels, governance requirements, and business objectives.

 

The role acts as a key enabler of operational excellence, standardization, business continuity, capability development, finance transformation, and continuous improvement across the regional finance organization. The incumbent will drive process harmonization, workforce readiness, reporting and analytics excellence, digital adoption, and sustainable operating practices while supporting regional and global strategic priorities.

              

Key Responsibilities

 

Regional Finance Support Leadership

  • Lead the regional Finance Support organization towards the target operating model and future-state vision.
  • Ensure delivery of support services in accordance with established service agreements, governance requirements, and performance expectations.
  • Drive operational excellence, service quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement across the region.
  • Develop organizational capabilities and competency frameworks for support functions.
  • Coordinate and govern the implementation of standardized finance processes, templates, and best practices across all countries within the region.
  • Ensure fulfilment of applicable regulatory, statutory, internal control, and company compliance requirements.

 

Process Excellence, Training, BCP & Sustainability

  • Lead the development, review, standardization, and governance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and operating manuals.
  • Design and implement role-based operational, finance, and cross-functional training programs to strengthen organizational capability and workforce readiness.
  • Establish and govern knowledge management practices to reduce single-point dependencies and improve operational resilience.
  • Own Business Continuity Planning (BCP) processes, including development, testing, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of recovery plans.
  • Lead succession planning, cross-training programs, and critical skills development initiatives.
  • Support sustainability objectives by coordinating initiatives, tracking progress, and embedding sustainable business practices into day-to-day operations.
  • Drive employee engagement, knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and capability-building initiatives across the regional support organization.
  • Ensure operating practices align with governance standards, internal controls, risk management requirements, and business objectives.

Reporting, Analytics, Automation & Finance Transformation

  • Lead regional performance reporting, business analytics, and management information processes to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Support performance management initiatives across the region.
  • Develop and continuously enhance KPI dashboards, management reporting packs, and executive performance reviews.
  • Generate actionable insights related to business performance, costs, productivity, operational risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive automation, digitization, and simplification of finance support and reporting processes using available technologies and AI-enabled tools.
  • Partner with Finance, Business, and Technology teams to identify and implement process improvement and transformation opportunities.
  • Lead finance transformation programs, including process standardization, ERP enablement, SAP implementation support, governance enhancement, and benefits realization.
  • Monitor transformation initiatives through defined metrics, milestones, and value realization measures.
  • Support leadership with business cases, executive presentations, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations.

Stakeholder & People Management

  • Build strong partnerships with regional finance leaders, shared services teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on process governance, operational risks, transformation priorities, and capability development.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across multiple locations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, innovation, and performance excellence.
  • Drive change management initiatives and ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • MBA, CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

Experience

  • Typically 12–15 years of progressive experience in Finance Operations, Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), FP&A, Process Excellence, Finance Transformation, or Regional Finance Leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading regional or multi-country finance support organizations.
  • Strong background in process standardization, governance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in training and capability development programs, business continuity planning, and knowledge management.
  • Demonstrated success in leading ERP, SAP, automation, digital transformation, or finance modernization initiatives.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and large-scale organizational change programs.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, controls, compliance requirements, and reporting frameworks.
