Role Title: Job Architecture & IPE Specialist

Location: Pune, India

 

Purpose of the Role

 

In this role, you will deliver reliable and high‑quality job architecture and evaluation services, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and governance of job roles and position classes in SuccessFactors. You will manage evaluation cases using Mercer IPE methodology, support global stakeholders, and contribute to data quality, reporting, and continuous improvement within PX Operations

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the maintenance and administration of Job Architecture in Global HRIS (SuccessFactors)
  • Executes end-to-end job evaluation case management within defined governance, including:
  • validation of requests and input data
  • performing job evaluations based on Mercer IPE methodology (when required)
  • reviewing and validating system-generated Position Class (PC) outcomes
  • applying deviation rules
  • communicating outcomes to stakeholders
  • Ensures accuracy and consistency of job roles and position data across systems
  • Provides first-level support to HR stakeholders, managers/business leaders on Job Architecture and IPE topics
  • Contributes to data audits, reporting, and analytics
  • Documents processes and supports continuous improvement initiatives

 

 

Core activities

 

  • Manages evaluation cases through system workflows (e.g., ServiceNow, SuccessFactors)
  • Reviews incoming job evaluation requests and ensures completeness and quality of input (additional job description, justification, business context)
  • Maintains job roles and Position Class data in HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors)
  • Prepares and validates input for IPE evaluations, as per Mercer methodology
  • Extracts and analyses data for reporting and quality checks
  • Coordinates with global stakeholders to resolve data or classification issues
  • Supports preparation of training materials, guidelines and FAQs
  • Participates in project activities related to Job Architecture rollout and updates
  • Documents processes and contributes to knowledge sharing
  • Maintains audit trail and documentation for all evaluations

  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders globally
  • Proactive and organized, capable of coordinating tasks effectively, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely follow-up with stakeholders

 

 

Requirements / Qualifications

 

 

  • 2+ years minimum of experience in HR operations, HR data management, compensation & benefits, or similar roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Mercer IPE) is required
  • Experience working with HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors or similar) is a plus
  • Experience in Power BI and ServiceNow is a plus
