JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Position Title:       Key Account Manager- Seals West & Central Region

Reports To:           Manager Sales Automotive Seals

Role Type:             Individual Contribution

Location:               Pune

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Nurture strategic relationships with senior management at key accounts within assigned region, to become long term trusted partner to the customer.

Acquire holistic understanding of key customers’ needs and map customer organization at all levels to get desired insights.

Develop strong working relationship with purchase & product engineering team in the assigned key accounts / regions

Identify future technological changes driving Automotive & Tractor market growth for long term, develop strong & sustainable business pipelines with differentiation product offering & services.

Drive new business growth as per SKF Seals strategic guidelines

Drive opportunities to improve profitability

Develop long term strategic growth plan

Drive SKF key account management process/tools to achieve annual growth & margin targets.

Serve as a primary business contact for the customer and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Arrangement of technical seminar for promoting SKF new offering & bridging the gap between customers needs vs SKF product development plan

Continuously improve Automotive & Industrial business process & demonstrate strong team leadership for deployment & adherence go SKF business process / guidelines / practices

Education & Experience

BE Mechanical (Automotive or Production) (Full time) and MBA Marketing added advantage

12-18 years of experience in handing larger accounts in West Region & Central Region in India

Experience in handling wide variety of customers in Passenger Car, Commercial Vehicle, Tractor, Powertrain, & Two-Wheeler Segment

Multi-functional experience like Supply Chain, Marketing, Business Development which are aligned to Sales will be added advantage.
