JOB DESCRIPTION

 

 

Position Title:  Manager: People Business Enabler

Reports To:      General Manager- People Business Enabler

Role Type:        Individual Contributor 

Location:           Pune (Factory) 

 

Purpose of the role:

 

As a HR Partner for business, provide support and leadership to drive the people strategy and ensure seamlessness and consistent employee experience on people processes and foster positive cultural change by managing and maintaining positive employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and promoting a healthy work environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Employee Relations

  • Drive key Change initiatives in the factory to ensure engagement, development as well as productivity improvement.
  • Foster and nurture a smooth Industrial relations climate by working closely with the Union / Shop floor team in ensuring right behaviors/ discipline.
  • Promoting an orderly but friendly work environment to increase the productivity of the employees.
  • Handling / dealing with employee complaints, grievances and resolve it timely/ proactively and ensuring healthy work relationships and a supportive atmosphere at the workplace

Collective Bargaining:

  • Participate in collective bargaining negotiations with labor unions, if applicable.
  • Collaborate with union representatives to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Ensure all collective bargaining agreements are implemented and adhered to.

Dispute Resolution:

  • Handle disputes and conflicts within the workplace effectively and diplomatically.
  • Investigate and resolve labor-related issues, ensuring they are resolved in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

Talent and Leadership

  • Partner with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to allocated HC and ensure timely hiring against vacancies
  • Critically evaluate external talent to ensure right hire – cultural evaluation and potential evaluation
  • Strong succession pipeline for N-3/4 leadership positions
  • Develop and deploy the competency framework for creating a future ready workforce
  • Support Talent development by focusing on Organizational capability, Individual needs and core competence

Culture and workplace

  • Work towards creating a ‘Best place to work’
  • Drive customer centric approach with innovation
  • Drive various diversity and inclusion initiatives and develop infrastructure for inclusive workplace
  • Monitor and report employee pulse through regular engagement with employees
  • Co-create and drive employee engagement plans and maintain and strengthen relationships

  • Identify training and development needs of employees and collaborate with relevant teams to provide training programs.
  • Encourage skill development, career growth, and succession planning within the manufacturing workforce.

Candidate Profile

 

  1. Post-Graduation in Human Resource Management from reputed College
  2. 10+ years of experience in HRBP with a good brand, preferably from Manufacturing or engineering org having Labour Trade Union set up.
  3. Knowledge on Factory & Labour Laws and exposure to LTS settlement is a must.
  4. Needs to have a flair and understanding for IR.
