Role Title: People Service Specialist

Location: Pune, India

 

Purpose of the Role

 

The People Service Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations with a strong focus on onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle processes, and HR digitization. The role ensures a seamless employee experience, data accuracy and completeness, compliance, and effective stakeholder coordination. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities – Onboarding and Employee Life Cycle management

 

    • Manage end-to-end New Hire Joining and Onboarding process
    • Handle pre-employment medical check-ups and documentation
    • Manage Background Verification (BGV) for all new hires
    • Conduct HR orientation sessions covering policies, systems and company overview
    • Oversee first two days of the induction plan
    • Process joining expenses, daycare and nanny allowance claims
    • Arrange factory visits for new hires at Pune and Bangalore locations
    • Manage end to end employee life cycle process including   transfers etc.
    • Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate salary master data and share inputs with payroll
    • Work hands-on with SuccessFactors HRMS for onboarding and employee life cycle activities
    • Manage employee queries with strong focus on employee experience
    • Work with cross functional teams for any process or systems enhancements.

 

Key Responsibilities – Offboarding

 

    • Manage end-to-end offboarding process for employees
    • Design, update, and manage exit clearance forms
    • Share exit process guidelines with employees
    • Issue relieving letters and exit-related documents
    • Maintain master exit tracker for data and recoveries
    • Capture actual reasons for exit for analysis
    • Share exit data with Compensation and Benefits team
    • Ensure timely termination of GADD and system IDs
    • Process Full and Final settlements accurately and on time in coordination with payroll team

 

Other Responsibilities

 

    • Create and maintain PAN India holiday calendar starting October
    • Publish Company Intranet announcements for new joiners and role changes
    • Support internal and external HR audits, HR Compliances
    • Issue internship and contract letters for consultants
    • Review and update employee policies on Spider Intranet platform
    • Act as SPOC for centralized HR data requirements
    • Drive Process improvements & HR digitization initiatives
    • Manage and enhance HR Chatbot adoption and effectiveness

 

Requirements / Qualifications

 

    • MBA in Human Resources Management
    • 4–6 years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Data and systems management or similar role
    • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as SuccessFactors, Workday and Darwinbox
    • Strong understanding of HR policies and compliance
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, customer and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • High attention to detail and data accuracy
    • Proven experience in onboarding, end to end employee life cycle and  offboarding processes
