Job Description
The Product Line, ISEA organization plays a decisive role in defining the right offers by translating market trends and customer needs into Products and Solutions. It is responsible for fostering the competitiveness of the SKF product portfolio in diverse automotive and industrial applications. It will be the source of decisions on product strategy, product roadmap, roadmap execution and tactical choices through full value chain engagement.
We are in the process of identifying suitable candidates for the role of Product Line Manager- Ball bearing, Mounted Product, ISEA. This position will be at work level 3B and will report to the Head of Product Line, ISEA.

Reports To: General Manager- Head of Product Line, ISEA

Location: Pune/Bangalore
Key purpose of the job
Responsible for the profitable growth of the product line in ISEA through designing, executing, governing the product strategies aligning with the regional and global strategy to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive regional product sales growth and business development through full value chain management of the product line from product development, sourcing, manufacturing, and sales to develop and launch offers to the region.
• Drive footprint growth through localization projects, assortment optimization and expansion aligning to the regional and global strategy.
• Develop a clear product roadmap detailing the business potential and profitability of the individual product line.
• Define and develop Product portfolio offers aligned to industry segment growth strategy and Product Line profitability objectives.
• Drive portfolio management projects to optimize value and profitability of the product line.
• Manage the product lifecycle, including new product introductions, product enhancements, and end-of-life planning
• Identify footprint investment opportunities and coordinate the planning and proposals of the investment in line with the regional and global SKF strategy.
• Ensure outside-in approach to bring the market voice and trends into SKF in all areas of job scope and drive the full value chain to position the product line competitively on footprint, offers and value propositions.
• Align and collaborate with global teams and product lines to drive projects on identified global key focus areas that support growth in the region.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to anticipate market shifts and adjust product strategies accordingly
• Prepare and present reports, business cases, and presentations to senior management to communicate product strategies, performance, and recommendations.
Job Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or business administration. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 9+ years working experience. Proven experience in areas of sales, manufacturing, strategy and product management.
• Excellence in facilitation, influencing, leadership and communication skills in an international diverse team in matrix organization setup.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Proven track record from operational and strategic work.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Pro-active and open-minded team player with ability to drive change, inspire and influence others.
• Solid business understanding and acumen with an outside-in mindset and purposeful action taker.
• Good business and financial understanding.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and visualize complex data sets.
