We’re building a world-class Supply Chain organization enabling it as a Competitive Advantage for SKF Industrial. We're on our journey to create a connected, empowered Supply Chain where insights drive action, and everyone has the tools to make smarter, faster decisions.

Role Purpose

As the Supply Chain Insights Analyst for our ISEAM Supply Chain team, you will serve as the insight engine of our Supply Chain organization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that combines strategic leadership with technical depth. You will transform raw data into business-critical insights, build scalable tools and dashboards, and empower teams to plan with clarity, confidence, and precision.

Your leadership will elevate the analytical capabilities of our Supply Chain —from tactical problem-solving to strategic foresight.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Insight Leadership & Strategic Influence

  • Lead analytical projects that identify performance trends, uncover root causes, and support supply, demand, inventory planning decisions, logistics & warehousing efficiency improvement initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to planning leaders and cross-functional stakeholders incl. logistics & warehousing, embedding insights into all levels of decision-making.
  • Shape and communicate our planning performance narrative—translating complex data into compelling insights for senior leadership.

2. People Leadership & Capability Building

  • Collaborate with planners across ISEAM Supply Chain to build confidence in data interpretation, dashboard usage, and performance storytelling.
  • Elevate the analytical maturity of Supply Chain teams—fostering a mindset of curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Support the development of training, tools, and resources that embed analytics into daily planning workflows.

3. Dashboarding & Performance Visibility

  • Design and maintain intuitive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into critical planning KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels).
  • Lead the governance of planning metrics, ensuring consistency, data integrity, and clarity.
  • Collaborate with BI and digital teams to continuously improve data pipelines and visualizations.

4. Advanced Modelling & Simulation

  • Build advanced statistical models to support long-term forecasting, inventory optimization, and capacity planning helping planners drive S&OP process maturity.
  • Drive Scenario analysis in enabling planners to take effective decisions balancing Service levels & Inventory adaptability driving proactive decision making.
  • Champion automation of repeatable analytics to create capacity for strategic analysis using VBA, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Python Scripting etc..

What Great Looks Like in this Role?

  • People Leadership: Guides others to grow analytical confidence and maturity. Creates a culture where insights are shared, understood, and acted on.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Empowers teams to base decisions on facts, trends, and forecasts—not instincts.
  • Actionable Insight Generation: Provides insights that go beyond numbers, offering context and clear recommendations for decisions.
  • Communication & Influence: Communicates effectively across all levels—from analysts to executives. Uses storytelling to build alignment.
  • Analytical Leadership: Leads cross-functional projects with structure, impact, and measurable results.
  • Digital Enablement: Builds dashboards, visualizations, and models that are scalable, user-friendly, and effective.
  • Governance & Integrity: Ensures reporting processes are consistent, accurate, and trusted globally.

What You'll Bring:

  • A rare combination of analytical expertise and people influence.
  • 6+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, planning, or operations, with proven leadership impact.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence decisions through insights—not just information.
  • Experience in global or regional planning environments, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder needs.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset.

Technical & Educational Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
