EMEA Infrastructure & Operations - Automotive Business
The EMEA Infrastructure & Operations role ensures stability, performance, and scalability of compute and network infrastructure, as well as local applications across the EMEA region, in alignment with global IT standards. The position will focus on the EMEA continent including the warehouse locations with acknowledgement of diverse site specific services that exist today.
It supports business continuity and operational excellence by maintaining and improving the regional infrastructure and application landscape. The position may also lead and execute projects related to consolidation, replacement, or lifecycle management of existing solutions.
Key responsibilities :
- Infrastructure & Operations (Compute & Networking )
- Attend to any infrastructure topic in the EMEA region, specifically the EMEA continent, following global platform & service managers policies and guidelines
- Oversee and support the lifecycle management of compute and network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with global IT standards and policies.
- Validate the high availability, performance, and security of on prem data rooms and network services.
- Collaborate with global teams to implement standardized infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor and optimize site infrastructure performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Project Management

- manage and execute projects related to the scope of the infrastructure concerned.
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage project risks, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to execute project plans effectively.
- Service Continuity & Incident Management

- Act as the regional lead for major IT incidents affecting infrastructure services.
- Ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly.
- Facilitate with onsite resources who's English is not up to collaboration needs
- Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with local regulations, data privacy laws, and corporate IT policies.
- Support audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure operations within a warehousing context.
- Proven experience managing infrastructure projects in a regional context.
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing IT issues, ensuring continuous improvement in regional operations.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices, network and security architectures, and compute technologies.
- Communication skills across diverse cultures.
- Fluent in English and French
