Logistics & Trade Flow Specialist 
- Automotive Business 


Are you ready to take the next step in Customer Experience and broaden your expertise in logistics and international trade? We are now looking for a Logistics & Trade Flow Specialist to strengthen our EMEA setup. 

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role at the intersection of Customer Experience, Sales, and Logistics, supporting complex markets and enabling smooth customer operations across borders. You will work with cross-border flows of goods, resolve logistics challenges, and bring a strong customer perspective into logistics decisions.

Key Responsibilities  

 
  • Master Data Support Ensure accurate and compliant financial, logistics, product, and vendor master data, including codes, classifications, and system settings.

  • VAT & Tax Compliance Manage VAT and withholding tax setup, codes, flows, SAP configurations, and compliance across all relevant countries and trading scenarios.

  • Financial & Operational Follow-up Oversee SICS controls, goods in transit, storage arrangements, invoice validation, and risk‑mitigating approval processes.  

  • Logistics Flow Coordination Align logistics and financial flows (MWST, CRTC, BRF+), manage non‑standard deliveries, shipping documents, transport modes, and regulatory logistics changes.

  • Vendor & Third‑Party Support Act as Local Process Owner for vendor processes, maintain vendor master data, manage 3rd‑party BRF+ tables, and support product orders with Suppliers without electronic connections

  • Incident & Change Management Handle incidents, change requests, VAT/tax issues, logistics exceptions, and ensure timely resolution with SAP, tax, and operational stakeholders.

  • Process Development & Improvements Drive standardisation, automation, documentation, training materials, and process improvements across Logistics, Purchasing, and Trade flows.

  • Compliance & Business Continuity Ensure compliant, efficient, and transparent operations, including dangerous goods data, internal controls, and support for 48‑country WASS certificate requirements. 

 
We expect you to have

We are looking for someone who combines strong operational expertise with a genuine customer‑focused mindset. 

You likely bring: 

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, international trade, customer operations, or customer service 

  • Solid understanding of import/export processes, customs, and cross‑border flows 

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills 

  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams, stakeholders, and customer‑facing functions 

  • A proactive, structured, and solution‑oriented way of working 

  • Clear and confident communication skills in an international environment, including interactions with customers and partners

Some additional information   
This position can be based at one of our major Automotive sites in EMEA, such as Tongeren (Belgium), Saint-Cyr (France), Schweinfurt (Germany). 

We offer a flexible hybrid working model, allowing you to work from home a few days per week while spending the remaining days at the office. As employment is offered on a local contract, you must live within commuting distance of the relevant SKF Automotive site and be able to be on-site several days per week.   
  
You will report to Patrick Engel, VA Customer Experience, Strategic Pricing & Customer Integrations EMEA, who is located in Schweinfurt, Germany.
