Sales Manager Seals - DACH
SKF Sealing Solutions is an independent business unit within the SKF Group having a global sales turnover higher than 6 BSEK and over 3500 dedicated employees. We support our customers and partners in key industrial markets, with our dedicated sales teams across different regions and countries.
As Sales Manager Seals DACH (with 70+ employees), you will be responsible for the overall sales performance and profitable growth of the Industrial Seals business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as for the Machine Seals Operations in the region.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and coach a team of Key Account Managers across the DACH region
- Manage and develop the Machine Seals Operations business across DACH.
- Define and execute the regional strategy in alignment with EMEA and global business objectives.
- Ensure sustainable and profitable growth through strategic customer development and new business acquisition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at key customers and distribution partners.
- Drive sales excellence, customer value creation, and effective opportunity management.
- Support complex negotiations and strategic customer projects.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Application Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, and other internal stakeholders.
- Monitor market developments, industry trends, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Foster a high-performance, customer-focused, and collaborative sales culture.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Proven leadership experience, ideally managing sales or key account teams.
- Experience in strategic account management and complex customer organizations.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- The ability to inspire, engage, and develop people.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working in matrix organizations.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the DACH region.
