Head of Controlling, APAC - Automotive
In September of 2024, SKF announced the separation of its Automotive business, with the objective to build two world-leading companies. The role you are applying for will be a part of the new company created from the Automotive business. This means you will have the opportunity to be a part of shaping a new company aimed at meeting the needs of the transforming global automotive market.
Location: Jiading, Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the overall business goals and objectives of the automotive business in APAC.
2. Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators, identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
4. Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in APAC.
5. Conduct financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
6. Manage and optimize working capital, cash flow, and capital expenditure in APAC.
7. Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, ensuring their continuous development and growth.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting, and implement relevant changes and improvements as necessary.
9. Support senior management in decision-making processes by providing financial insights and scenario analysis.
10. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and other relevant parties.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
2. Proven work experience as a Business Controller, Finance Manager, or a similar role, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
4. Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
5. Proficient in financial reporting systems and ERP software.
6. Power Bi, Python and other data processing knowledge and skills.
7. Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a track record of successfully leading a high-performing team.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
9. Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
11. Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
