Job Title: Customer Quality Engineer
Reporting to: Head Of CQ, Wind
Location: Shanghai, Dalian, Tianjin, or Xinchang (if SKF internal, not necessary SH, DL, TJ, or XC)

Main Purpose of the Position:
As a part of customer team and the owner of customer quality, will lead and support customer quality activities in full value chain of business processes to continuously improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer relationship management to build partnership with customers and create trust towards customers.
  • Customer satisfaction and intimacy in terms of SKF business/quality strategy.
  • Take part in internal audit to validate the effectiveness and integrity of SKF procedures and standards.
  • Keep tracking on customer quality performance and drive the continuous improvement.
  • Close collaborations with manufacturing quality, application engineers to serve customer on issues/projects.
  • Warranty control and preliminary inspection/failure analysis, support customer complaints root cause analysis and problem solving, support customers to solve the problems and avoid recurrence.
  • Support customer audit/visit and follow up actions, ensure the implementation of corrective actions and improvement actions.
  • In addition to Wind business, support the rest of SKF business units with respect to on-site customer support, e.g. defective part sorting, product inspection and reporting etc.
  • Other tasks assigned by Head Of CQ, Wind.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • >5 years' experience in Customer quality / Application service or equivalent position in industry company
  • Strong mind set of quality, customer-oriented.
  • Familiar with IATF16949/APQP/PPAP/ISO 9001, 6 sigma/Lean is a plus
  • Bearing manufacturing and application knowledge is a plus
  • Good teamwork, communication skills
  • Self-driven, active workTravelling is up to 50%
  • English as working language
