Business Line Manager
– Manual Lubrication Systems (MLS)
Manual Lubrication Systems (MLS) is part of SKF’s Lubrication Lifetime Solutions Business Unit, delivering tools and equipment for manual lubrication and fluid-handling services used in industrial machinery and vehicles across a wide range of applications and end markets.
The business operates through a portfolio of brands, with the majority of revenue generated in North America. While North America remains the core market, there is clear growth potential internationally. As MLS Business Line Manager, you will play a key role in developing the global MLS business strategy, with the goal of improving market positions and capturing international growth opportunities.
What you can expect in the role:
As MLS Business Line Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Take full P&L responsibility and lead efforts to improve the MLS business line’s financial performance, emphasizing revenue growth, profitability, and the main value drivers across markets and product groups.
- Defining and executing a clear global business line strategy aligned with overall business unit objectives, while also delivering short-term performance improvements in close collaboration with Operations.
- Developing deep market and competitive insights to identify attractive segments, applications, and growth opportunities.
- Define product cost targets, make-or-buy strategies, and coordinate new offer development together with suppliers.
- Leading portfolio and product lifecycle management, including portfolio rationalization and standardization.
- Set global go-to-market strategies, including distribution channels, branding, and digital/e-commerce expansion.
What we expect you to have:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a relevant People manager position
- Extensive experience from similar roles, preferably in a global industrial B2B environment, and a demonstrated ability to define and execute business strategies that deliver profitable growth.
- Extensive experience in product lifecycle management, portfolio rationalization, and standardization, with practical experience working closely with sales organizations to drive local execution of global strategies.
- Solid stakeholder management skills and the ability to gain buy-in effectively by promoting transparency and building trust through open communication.
- Demonstrated ability to build organizational capability, promote accountability, and ensure speed of execution in a global, matrix environment
- Industrial experience is a must, knowledge withing the tools and equipment’s industry and/or Lubrication business is meritorious.
- Executive education, certifications or extensive working experience in strategic marketing and/or product management is considered meritorious.
As this is a global position, solid collaboration and communication skills with fluency in English is needed.

In this role you will lead a team of 8 people having product management and offer development focused roles.
This global position is preferably based in Saint Louis (US) or Blue Bell (US), Gothenburg (Sweden), Berlin (Germany), or Houten (Netherlands).
You will report to Raimond Breuker, Head of MPT & MLS Business Line, who is located in the Netherlands.
