International Trade Compliance Manager – Automotive Business

In this role, you will be responsible for structuring and overseeing legal, financial, credit and compliance obligations related to cross‑border activities. You will play a key role in ensuring strong governance, effective risk control and consistent operational performance across business support functions within an international Automotive environment.

   
Key responsibilities

• Structuring legal, financial, credit and compliance obligations for cross‑border activities
• Ensuring robust governance frameworks and disciplined risk management
• Monitoring internal controls and coordinating audits
• Managing credit exposure and ensuring regulatory adherence
• Ensuring accuracy, transparency and integrity of financial and administrative processes
• Driving alignment between branches and harmonizing procedures
• Ensuring effective escalation and resolution of cross‑functional issues
• Supporting consistent operational excellence and organizational resilience

Requirements (or We expect you to have/be) 

• Experience or strong background in international trade
• Solid knowledge of compliance related topics
• Experience in project management
• Strong analytical skills
• Organizational and coordination capabilities

Some additional information 

The scope of this role covers sales activities outside Belgium, including the 10 Belgian branches.
