Final Control & Assembly Channel Manager

@ Aerospace Business Unit - Villar Perosa

 

To enhance the operational structure of our Assembly and Final Control Department, we are looking for a key role responsible for managing personnel and operational flows within the area.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Production Manager and other manufacturing leaders and teams to meet the factory's strategic goals.
  • Track production and ensure monthly delivery targets and other KPIs are met by coordinating workforce and material availability.
  • Encourage a robust commitment to safety principles and to high-quality products delivery.
  • Support the development of employees’ skills by structuring and implementing appropriate training initiatives.
  • Manage the production activities according to SKF Production System (SPS) principles, promoting and monitoring related activities (e.g. daily management, 5S, resetting, problem solving)
  • Promote and encourage a culture of innovation in the team

 

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or technical high school education, with some years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and in managing people
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of manual and 3D measuring instruments
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies will be considered as meritorious
  • Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and spoken
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated experience performing effectively under tight deadlines.
  • A previous working experience in the aerospace environment will be considered as meritorious.

Some additional information

The position will be located at Villar Perosa (Turin), on local contract. The position holder will report to the Production Manager OEM Avio, who is located in Villar Perosa (Turin).
