TBU/CRU PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate globally with product engineering teams, suppliers and manufacturing units to define product requirements and specifications, with particular focus on design to cost
- Translate product requirements into detailed engineering specifications and design rules
- Perform advanced bearing calculations and simulations (e.g. Ansys, Beast, SimPro Expert, Relical, etc.)
- Design and refine advanced models for friction behavior and bearing life prediction (L10), supporting product performance optimization.
- Review and enhance existing heat treatment specifications to improve product performance; assess and validate new treatments for potential implementation
- Evaluate emerging technologies and materials for potential integration into new products
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in mechanical/aeronautical/material engineering
- In-depth knowledge of materials science, especially regarding steel, and the related manufacturing techniques
- Proficient with FEM analysis methods (e.g., Ansys), basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
- Effective communication abilities and a collaborative mindset, with demonstrated skill in working effectively in cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience in project management, with focus on cost reduction activities

Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of Chinese will be considered as meritorious.
- Availability to travel internationally
