Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate - Shipping & Receiving is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving incoming materials, inventory movements, order picking, packing, shipping, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This role ensures customer orders are processed safely, accurately, and on time while following company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming materials.
  • Accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Perform inventory transactions using WMS and RF scanners.
  • Move materials safely throughout the warehouse using forklifts and material handling equipment. (MOST)
  • Verify product quantities, lot numbers, and documentation for accuracy and traceability.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.

 

Customer / Stakeholder Engagement

  • Communicate inventory, shipping, and receiving issues to appropriate departments.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support warehouse and operational goals through teamwork and communication.

 

Operational Excellence

  • Meet productivity, quality, and safety expectations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper transaction processing.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Strategic Communication

  • Complete required warehouse documentation and system transactions accurately
  • Report discrepancies, delays, equipment issues, and safety concerns promptly.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills; experience with WMS, and RF scanners preferred.


Other Requirements:

  • Ability to operate forklifts or obtain certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
