Responsibilities:

• Pack product to specification for storage and final shipment
• Unpack and prepare returned product
• Maintain pack equipment
• Monitor pack supplies
• Receive/inspect /verify quantities of all incoming material and put in correct warehouse locations (requires fork truck certification)
• Prepare bills of lading
• Prepare necessary paperwork for shipments, including certification/packing lists
• Prioritize certifications as required
• Coordinate trucks to pick up domestic, out-of-state or international thru various trucking co.
• Print box labels to customer requirements
• Maintain all supplies for packing/shipping
• Cover for vacations as needed
• Housekeeping – keep shipping/warehouse clean and organized
• Read new and revised specifications when mandated
• Work well in a Team environment
• Participate in all scheduled training
• Fork Truck certification required for receipt of raw material
• Shipping / Receiving will be cross trained with Pack processes to support as needed
• 5S – Support and Maintain all programs per requirements
• Perform any and all tasks assigned by department Manager 

Requirements:

• Varied postures
  • sitting, standing in general, for extended periods of time thru the day
  • leaning forward, turning side to side, pushing motion with hands while vacuum sealing

• Transports product from one area to another
• Use of Hand Carts – pushing
• Walking, pushing, carrying or lifting up to max. 50 lbs occasionally
• Certified Fork Lift Operator
