Key Account Manager – SKF Sealing Solutions

Location: Hybrid scheme

Sealing Solutions Americas

Reports to: Sales and New Business Development Manager MX-LAM


Position Purpose

The Key Account Manager is responsible for increasing SKF Sealing Solutions’ market share and profitability in Mexico through the strategic management of key accounts, development of new business models, and achievement of commercial objectives. Acts as SKF’s ambassador to customers, ensuring strong relationships and sustainable growth.


Main Responsibilities

Key Account Management

  • Promote SKF Sealing Solutions products in selected accounts.
  • Develop individual strategic account and sales plans.
  • Negotiate corporate contracts and lead internal sales processes.
  • Coordinate activities with Engineering, Customer Service, Sales Operations, and Manufacturing.
  • Ensure ongoing profitability of assigned accounts.
  • Identify and convert business opportunities in the CRM system (SAP C4C).

Business Planning and Reporting

  • Participate in results follow-up sessions (RACC).
  • Prepare monthly management reports (MMR).
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and strategic plans.

CRM Usage

  • Keep the customer database updated.
  • Document contacts, priorities, and opportunities.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up.

Compliance and EHS

  • Comply with SKF’s safety, quality, and conduct policies.
  • Report incidents and participate in EHS training.

Profile Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and direct customer service.
  • Availability to travel at least 50% of the time.

Skills

  • Leadership, execution focus, and results orientation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Market analysis and project management capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.).
  • Experience in the automotive or industrial OEM industry (desirable).
